This is how I like to teach… meaningful references and authentic style activities. So glad I found you online!

I would like to say how much I LOVE your resources. I teach both 2nd and 3rd grade and we are having wonderful experiences using your products for The Phantom Tollbooth and Johnny Tremain.

*

I organize my childrens' book club largely around LitWits options, so the more the better (we do one book a month).  It is my children's tippy top favorite thing that we do for school - thank you for making it within my reach to create these experiences for them.

*
I love to read and want to pass that along to my son, and he needs more creative ways to be engaged with the books. Your ideas and printables help me by not having to think up things on my own. Thank you for making these wonderful guides!

*
LitWits gives me great ideas for creating a wonderful sensorial experience which, of course, helps to make the learning experience come alive and are better learned and remembered. Isn’t it wonderful how these experiences transfer over to other areas of learning and life?
*
"We love LitWits’ creative activity ideas! Kids learn from great books through in-depth, meaningful connections and hands-on, sensory experiences!"
*
Thank you for helping my [5/6th-grade] students to reach literary excellence, and for making literature their favorite subject!
*
I have bought numerous [printables titles] and love every one. The students in my co-op classes love the literature selections and the activities. Thank you for making my job easier!

We love how LitWits brings these stories, literature, and writing to life for our family! Thank you!!

*
Thank you for providing children with purposeful activities to accompany the classics!
*
*I am absolutely in LOVE with your site and your concepts! Bought [resources for The Witch of Blackbird Pond] to use in my classroom. [ ... ] will definitely be using it all next year with my 5th graders. Just wanted to say thanks for all you do!

*
I recently purchased your curriculum for The Phantom Tollbooth and worked with our small homeschool literature group.  We loved it!!!  I have referred you to many of the homeschool families. Thank you for what you do! You have inspired me to make each book a "field trip"!  I am grateful.

As a product and curriculum resource, I highly recommend LitWits and their guides that are packed FULL of some great teaching ideas.  With our culture in a bad habit of cutting off some of the truly important things in life like nature, gratefulness, appreciating animals and so many others, we need more educational activities like these. - From Amy Butler of The Write Balance, who has a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership & Academic Curriculum, specializing in English Education

Cathy Duffy ReviewsBecky and Jenny obviously love creating the LitWits Video Courses as demonstrated by their excitement and enjoyment as they discuss the books and projects. They make the exploration of each book look like an entertaining adventure that students will be eager to join.

Ian got so much out of your  Charlie and the Chocolate Factory class, and because of that class I have a child willing to read.
*
We absolutely loved the Trumpet of the Swan workshop!  You have such a wonderful, sisterly vibe between you . . .  We loved the author background stories as well as all of the images you use to illustrate what you are teaching. You never sound like you are lecturing; instead it feels like you are here with us, having a good discussion, laughing and enjoying the time together. We liked the pacing, the intermingling of teaching and activities, the times you have us pause to discuss something, your sense of humor, and, of course, the fun projects, worksheets, and snacks.
*
My 9-year-old daughter not only had a good time, but she also had those "aha" moments when you'd point out some interesting author's technique or theme, and already she is transferring what she has learned to other books she is reading and the stories she is writing.
*
I love the quote by Stratford Caldecott: "To be enchanted by story is to be granted a deeper insight into reality." I think you are helping kids to do that :). So thank you!! We absolutely cannot wait for you to release your next workshop recording!"

*
. . a fabulous way to study  A Little Princess, and much more interesting, engaging, and memorable than just using vocabulary or review questions! [My daughter] loved collecting prop items to make a special display on our bookshelf, and enjoyed the art projects greatly. We made the frosted cakes from the “Frustrated Banquet” which our whole family was happy to eat, and overall we had a wonderful time together with this study. Thank you!

[My daughter and I] have cherished our workshops over the years and will forever remember the wonderful books and fantastic projects she got to do with LitWits! Thank you SO much for doing what you do! You’ve helped me foster a love for great books in [my daughter], and that’s priceless to me!
*
Thank you, thank you for the treasures you created! They are certain to be among the fondest memories this group of kids will have of their schooling years! What a beautiful gift that they connect over books rather than games or media. Bravo! Thank you!

*

I don't know how you do it! Today's class was unbelievable!  There was a surprise at every turn and so much about literature to learn! I am so thankful for your creativity and your passion for teaching. I cannot fathom how you put all of that together for the price that you did.
*
Wow, I am so glad I took a chance and tried your live workshop today. My son loved it and learned so much. I was happy he was willing to share his writing and that you gave him quality feedback. I am a homeschooling mom of many years who loves literature!  I also am a CA credentialed English teacher currently working for [a charter school] with independent study homeschooling families. I will definitely be recommending your workshops and materials.
*

You really have created such a wonderful program for kids. Even when my daughter goes back to school I will have her miss those hours so that we can do these programs with you because I feel that they are invaluable! I can’t thank you enough for the magic they create and the enthusiasm for reading that they generate.
*
My kids are excited for more LitWits adventures.  My son just turned 7 and is so happy he can finally join in!  Their boxes came today and he quickly found the one with his name hugged it and said “dreams do come true!”
*
James loved the workshop with you and as soon as he finished, he helped his sister find all her own belongings so she too could be like Louis. They then spent the remainder of the day pretending to be Louis. They had so much fun! Thank you for bringing these beautiful books to life. We loved reading this one by E.B White. It made us smile and laugh so many times.
*
My kids both said unequivocally: “I want to do that again.” I was worried that it might be a little too schooly for my PTSD (post-traumatic school disorder) kids–sitting still, worksheets–but you guys clearly made it fun and engaging.  Thank you for that. They spent the rest of the day writing and drawing on their [Anne of Green Gables  handmade] slates. ..If you could keep my tree-climbing, non-writing, head-in-the-clouds little guy interested, you must be doing something right.
*
Thank you for offering such a rich experience! I offered [my son] the option of creating a LitWits type experience from the books we are reading together. He came up to me a few days later and said, “Mom, it’s just that I really like the whole LitWits experience. I like listening to them explain things. I like tasting the book and making art and experiencing the book all over again. PLEASE? I really want to do ALL the books they have listed with them!” How could I say no?
